According to Kharel, the cabinet meeting also decided to accept nearly $5 million in assistance from the Norwegian government to support governance at the provincial and local levels. Similarly, it also decided to accept $2.1 million in Swiss government assistance. HimalPress

Similarly, the government has decided to provide immediate relief of Rs 15,000 each to those injured in the Gen Z protests of September 8 and 9. According to Minister Kharel, a total of 2,429 individuals will receive the relief amount. HimalPress

The meeting also decided to recommend to the President to issue an ordinance to amend the Nepal Special Service Act, 1987. HimalPress

In addition, the cabinet has fixed trekking permit fee for foreign nationals visiting Upper Mustang at $50 per person per day, or an equivalent amount in foreign currency. It has decided to amend Schedule 12 of the Immigration Rules, 1994, to change the permit fee. HimalPress
