Hi everyone,
I’ve spent the last few months looking at Sanjal through a very technical lens. I’ve been obsessing over page views, optimizing sign-up flows, and tweaking the backend to make sure everything runs smoothly.
But recently, I realized something: I’ve been treating Sanjal like a machine, and I’ve been acting like its operator rather than a member of the community.
If you look at most platforms today, they feel faceless. They communicate through “automated notifications” and “official announcements.” I don’t want Sanjal to be an impersonal “it.” I want it to be a “we.”
Why I’m stepping out from behind the “Admin” curtain:
When I started this project, the goal wasn’t just to hit a specific traffic number. It was to create a space where we could actually share knowledge without the noise of mainstream social media. We are seeing great growth and new faces every day, but for this to be a true community, we need to move past just “browsing” and start “belonging.”
My promise to you: From now on, you’ll see me here not just as the person fixing the bugs, but as a user. I’ll be sharing my own challenges
But I need your help to set the tone.
A forum is only as alive as its last conversation. So, I have a small request for everyone reading this:
-
Don’t be a stranger. If you see a post that interests you, leave a quick comment. It doesn’t have to be a masterpiece; just a “I agree” or “Have you considered X?” makes a huge difference.
-
Tell me one thing. If you could change one thing about Sanjal today to make it more useful for you, what would it be? No suggestion is too small.
I’m looking forward to building this alongside all of you.
Best,
Laxman Kafle
